State Senators Investigate Fulton Jail Deaths And Case Backlog

Georgia Public broadcasting recently did an analysis of the problems ongoing at the Fulton County jail and the crushing backlog of cases waiting to go to trial. GPB contacted Jason B. Sheffield, past president of the Georgia Association Of Criminal Defense Lawyers, for comment about the accused persons waiting to have their day in court. Sheffield had the following say:
